A couple weekends ago we went to something downtown called "Sand in the City". A lot of teams had made these cool sand exhibits. We enjoyed walking around downtown looking at them. Will and I LOVE the weather. Even though it might get up to 90 and humid, when we sit on the trampoline in the shade with a nice breeze, I don't miss AZ at all.
I am still getting used to the sporadic rain here. We start off a run in the sun, and end soaking wet from the rain. My friend from High School days and I have picked up on our running habits running 3x a week. We would always run from her house to the lake, around part of it then back. As we were reminiscing about our high school days, we realized how much the trails around the lake have changed. We started off running on small bike trails where we would brush the cob webs away 3x a week barely managing to find a trail. We loved the shade of the trails, and always felt like we were running so fast because of all the brush passing us. Now, those trails are long gone and they have a nice double wide sidewalk going around the lake; perfect for us to take our jogging strollers. It was funny because we were talking about how long ago we started running together... it has been 8-9 years! I can not believe we have gotten so old! Here we are still thinking we are 18-20 just visiting Omaha going for a run. Instead, we have both moved back to Omaha with our husbands each having a son. CRAZINESS!!!
Brady is getting bigger every day. He will be 4 months tomorrow. His favorite things are: Sitting or standing and looking around. If he is laying under anything, he pulls what he can down; if he can't pull it down, he gets very angry. He loves just sitting out on the trampoline looking at things. He loves it with his Grandpa talks to him and shows him the garden outside.
